Community infrastructure construction in Africa
[ Emerson Community Projects ]

Infrastructure Built for Communities.
Funded by Partners. Built by Emerson.

Since 2017, Emerson has partnered with donors, development finance institutions, and philanthropic foundations who identify a community in need and fund the project — Emerson designs, constructs and hands over the infrastructure.

[ The Model ]

How Partnerships Work.

01

A partner identifies the need

A donor, DFI, foundation or government identifies a community that lacks critical infrastructure.

02

The partner funds the project

The funding partner allocates the full project budget directly. Emerson does not mark up or add commercial fees.

03

Emerson designs and constructs

Our engineers handle everything from site survey and design through construction, commissioning and handover.

04

The community receives it

Full handover to the community or local authority, with documentation, training and a 12-month post-completion review.

We do not solicit community projects commercially. Every project in this portfolio exists because a partner believed a community deserved better — and trusted Emerson to build it.
